Focus: Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis, and Spotting Red Flags
Come explore the leap into working with clients as a practicing herbalist!
This live, online class is offered multiple times for intermediate or advanced students to learn about various aspects involved with taking the step into clinical herbalism. It is a good pre-requistite for folks interested in the Clinical Round Table group.
Topics include developing formulas, interviewing, case management, spotting red flags, case presentation and prioritizing care for complex clients. We will also discuss legal considerations, charting and forms, privacy, protecting and utilizing the resources of the herbalist, integrating herbs into other healing arts, and many other things that come up when engaging in herbal practice. Some class topics will repeat and some things will vary each time the class is offered, depending on the questions and interests of participants.
The class will include exercises and self-study to help students bring clarity to their dreams of helping members of their communities through herbal care. There will be lots of opportunities to have specific questions answered.
