Difficulty: Very easy level walking on dirt and gravel paths.
Good for kids: Yes, if they can stay closely on the trail. Children 12 and under are free and welcome! Please register teens.
The incredible Camassia Natural Area managed by the Nature Conservancy includes very easy walking, a gorgeous array of rare native wildflowers, and a lot of opportunities to learn about important food and medicine plants.
Our hike visits multiple habitats including the oak savannah, astounding beds of camas flowers, and a few surprise trees! This close-in natural area is truly magnificent.

Important: When you purchase the class you will be emailed a link to download a PDF file containing details about the class location and other necessary instructions. This link will be active for 30 days. If the link expires you may email us for a new link. However, as we prefer to spend our time in the woods rather than on the computer, we recommend downloading the file immediately.
Refund policy: Full refund for tuition (minus $15 admin fee) up to 1 week before the day of the hike. Less than 7 days before the day of the hike 50% of tuition can be refunded. No refunds are possible less than 24 hours before the start of the hike or for no shows.
