L.L. Stub Stewart State Park
Come enjoy a day of herbal medicine education at a site of incredible plant diversity and beautifully restored habitat. Old trees, lush understory and wide open trails at a terrific state park that is open for day use.
Our intimate group of 5 students will allow for lots of detailed discussion of plant medicine and attention to questions, while maintaining social distance.
LL Stub Stewart State Park has diverse plant communities and tons of trails for exploring. Learn plant identification, ecology, medicine making and both traditional and modern herbal medicine uses for the plants we encounter.
Total hiking distance for the day will be approximately 4-5 miles.
To Bring: Clothing appropriate for different weather conditions including sun protection, sunscreen or hat, good footwear. Note taking materials. Enough water for a whole day and a lunch and snacks you can carry with you in a pack.

Due to Coronavirus concerns, plant hikes at this time are limited to 5 participants. Masks must be worn and 6’ of social distancing must be maintained.
Refund policy: Full refund for tuition up to 1 week before start of class. Less than 7 days before the start of class 50% of tuition can be refunded. No refunds are possible less than 24 hours before the start of class or after the class has begun.
