Come enjoy a full day of herbal medicine education at a site of incredible plant diversity and beautifully restored habitat. Old trees, lush understory and wide open trails at a terrific and often overlooked state park. LL Stub Stewart State Park has diverse plant communities and miles of trails for exploring. Learn plant identification, ecology, medicine making and both traditional and modern herbal medicine uses for the plants we encounter. Total hiking distance for the day will be approximately 4-5 miles, on easy and well-maintained trails.
To bring: Clothing appropriate for different weather conditions including sun protection, sunscreen or hat, good footwear. Note taking materials. Enough water for a whole day and a lunch and snacks you can carry with you in a pack. Masks required.

Refund policy: A refund minus a $10 admin fee will be given until 24 hours before the day of the hike. No refunds are available within less than 24 hours of the class, or for no-shows on the day of the class.
