Even fans of this hike will learn something new about this beautiful forest - how could you not when there are nearly 50 native and naturalized plants to become aquainted with?
Come join a very small group of herbal medicine students as we explore one of the most diverse and protected of all the waterfall hikes in the Columbia gorge. Massive old growth giants, wildflowers, and large populations of important medicinal plants await us as we continue to study plant identification, ecology, and traditional medicine of the region. Cap it all off with one of the best waterfalls, surrounded by a magical pool and protected native plants.
This hike is a 2.25 mile loop on an easy trail with about 625’ of elevation gain. Students must be physically capable of hiking.
