Friday, April 18, 2025

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Difficulty: Very easy walking. Paved paths accommodate strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers.

Good for kids: Yes! Children 12 and under are free and welcome! Please register teens 13 and over.

Join us for an easy hike amongst the mighty giant trees! This small forested park is home to a surprisingly diverse ecosystem.

Enormous Douglas firs tower over the lovely trails and the riverside areas along Rock Creek are full of wildlife.

This is a perfect place for the study of native trees: magnificent Redcedar, Maple, Ash, Yew, Alder, Oak, Hawthorn, Red Osier Dogwood and more.

The trees and understory plants in this amazing park are healthy and thriving, and we get to hang out with them while we explore their medicine. Learn about botanical identification, ecology, harvesting and medicine uses.

Location: Noble Woods Park. Details about the exact meeting location are included in the PDF.
