Foundations of
Pacific Northwest Herbalism
​​The first year of our herbalism course is an 8-month journey that includes materia medica, medicine making and longer field day adventures; as well as a camping trip where we can practice ethical wildcrafting.​​​​

Eight in-person weekends with Saturdays spent in the classroom and Sundays hiking in various locations near Portland.​​

The complete Plant Medicine Series: our live online materia medica classes on Thursday evenings in Late February, March, April, May, September, and October.

It is strongly recommended that Herbalist Training Program students take the online materia medica courses, which fully round out the educational experience and provide week-to-week continuity. An "in-person only" option exists for students who have already taken the Plant Medicine Series online, or for those who cannot attend online evening classes due to scheduling or financial reasons. In-person only tuition: $1825 ​
