10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Difficulty: Very easy level walking on well-maintained trails. No elevation change.

Good for kids: Yes! Children 12 and under are free and welcome. Please register teens.

Along the paths of Beaverton Creek and Cedar Mills Creek, we get to explore this fantastic wildlife area and wetlands.

There are ponds, trails and areas of very old forest with giant trees: Oaks, Douglas Firs, Western Redcedars, Ashes, Maples, and Ponderosa Pines, along with numerous understory shrubs, herbs and wildflowers.

While discussing their edible and medicinal properties, we get to walk on well-maintained easy trails that feel wild and secluded.

Besides the plants, we may spot numerous birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals that make their homes in the park.

Location: Tualatin Hills Nature Park. Details about the exact meeting location are included in the PDF.
