Lacamas Regional Park, WA
Lacamas Regional Park (Round Lake)
On the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge, this wonderfully diverse 300+ acre park includes forests of conifers, maples and oak, camas beds and surprising waterfalls. It has a wild feel with many flowers to identify and many of the medicinal plants typical of Pacific Northwest forests. Excellent wide trails and spaces are great for physical spacing. Easy hiking.
Our full-day medicinal plant hikes for small groups include detailed attention to plant identification, ecological awareness, discussion of harvesting techniques and considerations, medicinal uses both traditional and modern, and medicine making.
