The largest of the extinct volcanos in the Portland area, this huge and rarely-visited park has an amazing variety of wild habitats, mature forests, animal wildlife and wonderful medicine plants for us to visit.

Oak parkland, mixed maple-conifer woods with groves of majestic cedars and Douglas fir habitats, and lowland areas of cottonwoods and ash trees make for incredible diversity in a small area. This mysterious mountain is a true Hidden Gem!

Location: Mt Talbert Nature Park in Clackamas. Details about the exact meeting location are included in the PDF.

  • Important: When you purchase the class you will be emailed a link to download a PDF file containing details about the class location and other necessary instructions. This link will be active for 30 days. If the link expires you may email us for a new link. However, as we prefer to spend our time in the woods rather than on the computer, we recommend downloading the file immediately.
