Bundle up in the early Cascadia Spring and join a small group for an adventurous plant walk at Powell Butte. Learn dozens of local plants and how they can play a role in human health and healing.
We will walk amongst several different micro-climates and maturing forests to discuss plant identification, ecology, harvesting, medicinal uses and medicine making for many of the trees and understory plants in this wonderful East side gem.
Difficulty: Easy hiking on well-maintained trails. Some hills.
Good for kids: Yes! Children 12 and under are free and welcome! Please register teens.

When you purchase the class you will be emailed a link to download a PDF file containing details about the class location and other necessary instructions. This link will be active for 30 days. If the link expires you may email us for a new link. However, as we prefer to spend our time in the woods rather than on the computer, we recommend downloading the file immediately.
Full refund for tuition (minus $15 admin fee) up to 1 week before the day of the hike. Less than 7 days before the day of the hike 50% of tuition can be refunded. No refunds are possible for cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of the hike or for no-shows.
