Good for kids: Yes! Children 12 and under are free and welcome. Please register teens. Young kids should be old enough to walk in the woods for a little while, or young enough to be carried if they get tired.
 
We return to Powell Butte for late Spring wildflowers… Learn to about dozens of local plants in a surprisingly wild landscape of maturing forests and prairieland, and how they can play a role in human health and healing.
 
We will discuss plant identification, ecology, harvesting, medicinal uses and medicine making for many of the trees, herbs, and flowers in this wonderful East side gem.
