If you want to gain a complete set of medicine making skills, you can register for the full series. In the first class you will learn everything about water extractions (teas, infusions, decoctions, etc..). In the second class we cover alcohol extracts and tinctures. And in the third we study infused oils and salves. All classes include active demonstrations and samples to try, as well as detailed notes so you can learn the precise medicine making skills of an herbalist.
We welcome you back to in-person herbal medicine classes!
Our outdoor classroom is at the Sherrett Food Forest. There will be a plant sale on the same day, so if you arrive a little early you can buy produce and amazing garden plants and trees for your home.
To bring: Note taking materials. A drinking vessel for tea. Clothes for staying very warm and dry. Good boots. We will have some kind of small heat source, but essentially we will be under shelter outdoors and Spring weather is variable. Bundle up.
Date: Sundays, March 20, April 24, and May 15, 2022
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Details about the exact meeting locations are included in the PDF.
Important: When you purchase the class you will be emailed a link to download a PDF file containing details about the class locations and other necessary instructions. This link will be active for 30 days. If the link expires you may email us for a new link. However, as we prefer to spend our time in the woods rather than on the computer, we recommend downloading the file immediately.
Refund Policy: Full refunds can be given (minus $15 admin fee) for cancellations more than 1 week prior to the first class. 50% refund can be made for cancellations made less than 1 week before the first class. No refunds are possible for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the class or once it has begun.
