Taking care of your own health, and the health of your family, friends and neighbors is an incredibly important community skill. One aspect of this care is developing the methods you use to choose herbs for the person you are trying to help.
 
In this class, we will turn towards the challenge of how to combine herbs into formulas for addressing complex needs. We will learn how to construct formulas for different people and different physiological systems, and how to combine herbs therapeutically into formulations for the greatest healing benefits. In the process we will deconstruct some famous traditional formulas to better understand the principles that are followed when making elegant plant medicines.
 
This live, in-person class includes a lot of participation and involvement, discussion and activity. (It is not, however, a medicine making class. Check out our specific Medicine Making offerings if this interests you)
 
This class is taught to the level of serious students of herbalism who have already taken many foundational classes, or for practicing herbalists looking to create more precise formulations.
