Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis

Taking care of your own health, and the health of your family, friends and neighbors is an incredibly important community skill. One aspect of this care is developing the methods you use to assess the person you are trying to help.

The skills of tongue and pulse observation have been utilized for thousands of years to determine subtle health imbalances. These skills can take a long time to master, but anyone can start to learn how to see variations in tongue appearance, feel pulse differences, and learn how best to use this information to guide herbal prescription making.

In this course you will receive hands-on training in these observation skills, beginning to study the interpretation of what you see and feel. Several levels of subtlety in these arts will be covered to account for different practitioner styles. This live, in-person class includes a lot of participation and involvement, discussion and activity.

This class is taught to the level of serious students of herbalism who have already taken many foundational classes, or for practicing herbalists looking to sharpen their observational powers.
