Tryon Creek State Natural Area
Our exploration of Tryon Creek includes easy hiking through forested areas. We will visit many mature trees, shrubs and lovely understory plants to discuss these helpful medicines and their roles in human healing.
This medicinal plant hike is a full-day exploration. Study in the field includes plant identification, ecological awareness, discussion of harvesting techniques and considerations, medicinal uses both traditional and modern, and medicine making.
